Yangcheng Evening News, one of China’s most read newspapers, invited Staffan to do a photo assignment in the Guangdong province in China. As part of the newspapers current focus on the Maritime silk route, Staffan traveled around Guangdong, including the capital Guangzhou, photographing daily life as well as cultural events and festivities.
